TOPIC: Home Inspector Pro 4.0 Release Notes

There is a design change that says HIP will load cell phone first, then home, the work.  I had an order recently that only had a cell phone entered and HIP did not pull the number down.  When I copy the number to home phone, HIP will pull it down.  Thanks.

Dom... great new features.  Looked at the glossary, and mine is not pre-populated with definitions as the video introduction of the feature suggests.  I checked and I'm using 4.0.8.  What do I need to do to get those definitions?  Ir could save me considerable time...  Also, how do I update the mobile versions I use to be able to add sections on the fly?  I use both iOS and Android.

Eric, can you double check what version you're on so that I can recreate that on this end?

I know the big feature for 4.0 is adding video ...but I'm hoping this feature has also been added.

I just did an inspection on a home built in 1890;15,483sq-ft; several hundred pics; requires allot of work.
After slotting my pictures, and starting to write the report....It would have been extremely helpful to click on a pic in the report and be taken right to the tab it was slotted in...way too much hunt and peck.

yep I find the same thing .. a lot of inspectors are hoping to have this added sometime soon .. I also have some inspections that call for a lot of pics due to the size of the building ...

Any update on the phone problem?  I had an inspection today with a cell number but not a home number and it did not pull it into HIP.  Thanks.
