A filing system for graphics would have to be catologued like shown here. www.arcat.com/sd/specifications.shtml

This is the standard breakdown for Divisions, in a regular specification book for building , Sweets Catologue and then it is broken down even more within a certain division ex. 0700, 07010, 07020. Just a thought for folder type identification. ?
