		I have a good skeleton, but I need narratives. Anything that you guys can contribute, please do. I should probably start one for residential comments as well to add another residential template in.

Your use of the word "narratives" throws me off a bit. If you are talking about paragraphs regarding an inspection, I find it very rare to be able to use a paragraph from one job to another. That is, without making changes that usually take about the same amount of time as writing something new. What I do use repeatedly are statements or descriptions of conditions. As you know, I have built a template to do EIFS inspections. Although I still find myself adding new things from time to time, I can pretty much do a report very quickly and easily. I probably spend more time editing the pictures than I do building the report. I agree that a commercial inspection includes alot more information, and will take longer. If you forward me all of the information regarding a particular subject that you have collected, I will play with it and try to organize it in a way that you might like. By the way, it took me about 20 minutes to put together my last report... excluding editing pics and the introduction letter  |
