Yes if you don't like a 10" tablet (which is my preference) this is the next best thing. It's small to handle, only has a 7" screen.

Bigger than mine!  But honestly, I think if I were to use a larger computer on site, it'll be a laptop with a 17-inch screen--but 44-year old eyes have priority.  Hehe.

BuyDig.com is sold out of the $499 model. Looks like the $599 is the best for now unless someone else finds otherwise!
