TOPIC: Last One To Post Wins!!

Joe, I don't think you're the only confused person here.  Doing a little digging, it seems like there are company or manufacturer names and product names.  From what I can decipher:
Kitec is a company name...that produces a product named IPEX...seems they are/have had troubles with radiant heat systems and plumbing.  I also always thought that Kitec was the name of the brass fitting used on polybutelene piping?
PEX seems to be where more homeowners turn to run plumbing.  I guess when I did my bath, I used copper.  ;D

Just thought I would add to the confusion.  ;D

Different kind of pex, since it uses a pex coating, it is being called pex by the IPEX company and definition.
This is not the same duck I am used to seeing.  ;D
