TOPIC: Tag missing on the Oil Tank

Hello guys,

What would you do if you discover an above ground oil tank that's missing a tag/label? Do you just quietly note it in the report as "tag missing/not visible"? Is the seller legally obligated to disclose it to the buyer? The seller would like to minimize this fact, because it may sink the deal and/or cost a lot of $ to have this tank replaced (since it would be impossible to haul it out without taking some walls down).

Maybe thats why he removed the tag? Without a date, there is likely to be an insurability issue. IMO it's a defect.
