Hi gang!
This house has some ice damming problems and when in the attic, the valley beam on both dormers look similar--deteriorated. Give me your thoughts please. Also, the chimney isn't quite straight. This home is Circa 1893.

"recommend further inspection by a qualified structural engineer"?

I believe over a period of years without attention, the water has infiltrated the decking and rotted out the beam at the end. Check this box to be notified of replies to this topic.
