TOPIC: Timber Pest Inspection Template

Does anyone know where I can get a timber pest/termite inspection template or sample to have a look at get an idea from?

There's not many out there as the US requires a specific form called the NMPA-33. You could look at that to get some ideas for you though.

Not in all cases.  Washington State does not use NMPA-33 as it does not meet our standards.  Check with your specific state regarding WHO can inspect and write pest reports.

I spoke with a licensed pesticide applicator in my state and he pointed out something interesting to me.  Apparently federal agencies that require the use of the NPMA-33 form for federal loans also require that it be signed by a state licensed pesticide applicator.  Of course I can't find the email where he included the applicable document right off hand, but he sent me a document that outlined the requirement clearly.  He told me that the feds are so busy processing loans that they don't take the time to check the inspector's credentials, so a lot of general home inspectors are signing the forms, but those forms could be rejected. 

Anyone know anything about this?
