Hi Tom,

It's recommended that you get a Tablet rather than a laptop for on site inspections. Being able to tap on the screen speeds up the inspection reporting process quite a bit. Quite a few of our users use the Samsung Q1 (7" screen). There's also a good HP Tablet that runs around $899 and the Fujitsu tablet runs about $1400. Some guys buy used tablets off ebay for $350 and they work great too. Home Inspector Pro does not require a powerful computer so even a several old machine works great.
