The above commands will not boot in the Run box. It does an instant quick flash of a black box similar to the old DOS box.

I'm running XP home, sp2...Norton, CCCleaner, adware and a few others that never come up with any issues. I know Norton is not a favorite, but it's there for now.

I also get a blue highlighted area once in a while that slows down my work. I reboot and it goes away then pops up again in a few days.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
