I haven't had many condos, is there a "condominium template" lurking out here that I can use?
Or one that someone is willing to share with me? before I create a specific template just for condominiums? I'm thinking of something stripped down, with all the condo disclaimers... |

There's really no reason to make a separate condo template. What most of the guys I've seen do is use your normal residential template, go to Report Settings->Section Colors & Print Order and uncheck all the sections that aren't relevant to the Condo. If it's in a skyrise for example you'd uncheck the roof, exterior sections, etc.  The reason not to make a separate template is all condo's are different. If it's a free standing condo (like mine, I only share one wall downstairs of my house), it's a full residential inspection except for a comment or two on the common area front yard.
But you could always ask Condo Bob Elliott |

		cool, that makes sense.
I'll delete the various sections, and then add the disclaimers I need. thanks! |

Exactly. That way any narratives you add when you go to save the template will be there for your next inspection whether it's a condo or residential.

		Steven Dominic is right
Steven when it comes to condos there can be just as much to check as far as systems and components go. A lot has to do with your residential template. Some have sections for things like finished basements which you may not ned ,but you can always just eliminate that fluff. I am working on a comment drop down program and will contribute some custom comments I use as dis claimers for Condos. Till then anyone can call sms text or email me if they would like to discuss anything different about Condo Inspection. I like to give people tips on associations ,special assessments and things along those lines. |

I do what Dom suggested. If I have an item on an area I need like a balcony or deck I just copy to the Interior page.
It did not work for me to have a separate condo template. Just be careful if you save the template. |
